Find your PPI
"I can't even remember who my lenders were!"
You’re not alone. We take calls every day from people who suspect they were mis-sold PPI, but have had lots of credit agreements in the past and can’t remember every one.
We’ve found that the quickest way to track down all your prior lenders is to request a credit history report.
We recommend using Experian, the UK’s most trusted credit reference agency, who offer a 30 day trial of their CreditExpert credit report*. This report may reveal lenders you have forgotten about.
You can then email this report to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will start the process of tracking down any PPI.
*A monthly fee of £14.99 applies after your 30-day trial. If you choose to cancel during your trial, you will not be charged.
If you know who your lenders were but don’t know your policy numbers or just don’t have any paperwork at all, don’t worry.
We will make a SAR or ‘Subject Access Request’ (under the Data Protection Act) which will require your lender to confess to any PPI policies they’ve sold to you (and their records go back a long way…).
Once we have all the details we need, we can search for evidence of any PPI, investigate if it was mis-sold and if so, make your case for compensation. So sit back and relax while we do all the hard work for you.
